How do you fix this problem? I have Windows ME. My mouse does not function after I gor the error message. I want to save my documents before I use the recovery CD but it is hard to do so without a mouse. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

To correct this problem:

Use a text editor (such as Notepad) to edit the System.ini file (this file is found in \Windows)

Add the following line to the [boot] section of the file:

drivers=mmsystem.dll

Save, and then close the System.ini file

Restart your computer
