I've seen lots of references to it but there is nothing on my keyboard labeled, "refresh". Where is it and what does it do? My keyboard is Hewlett/Packard and my computer is Windows Vista.

The F5 key is the standard default for refreshing a screen. The refresh button is however usually a reference to a button on an application like a browser (IE Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Etc...) This button usually has a circular arrow icon. When you click a refresh button, it will reload the information you see in your application. In a web browser - refresh will reload the page you are on.
