I have written a bat file that opens 3 different internet explorer windows (weather.com - yahoo.com - espn.com) since those are the three sites I check first when I first boot up windows.

Where can I place this bat file ( morning.bat) so it will run automatically when windows boots up

running windows xp pro sp 2

thanks

Place a shortcut to the .bat file in your Startups folder in the start menu.

Drag the .bat file into your start menu => All Programs => Startup.

You can place the .bat file in the startup folder of your windows. Files and shortcuts placed here are executed by Windows on user login (after logout and not on switching users).

To place the bat file here

- Click on Start

- Point to All Programs

- Point to Startup

- Right click on Startup and select 'Open' from the menu

(You can also select 'Open All Users' if you wish to execute this file when any of the user logs in, if you select Open, this file will be executed for you only).

- Copy/Move your bat file from its location to the startup folder. You can also create a shortcut to your bat file here if you don't wish to move the bat file from its original location

Wheneven you log out and log-in again, the bat file will be executed.

bypass to the command on the spot - initiate - Run - form in cmd. Now form in msconfig. have been given to the final tab (Startup) and look in any respect the classes that run at initiate up. might ask your self you with the quantity of secret agent ware that must be there. Google something which you're uncertain of.
