When I try to open internet explorer (my homepage is Comcast) it won't open and says a problem with this webpage has caused internet explorer to close and reopen this tab. It says that over and over no matter what I do. I tried running a scan with my security and that didn't help. What is this in EXTREME laymans terms and what can I do step by step please. 1. Disconnect from Internet. (Removing the network cable.)

2. Open the IE Browser.

3. It will open the page but since network is absent, you will not get the page.

4. Then go to Internet Options -> Home page.

5. Change the home page to something like "google" or "yahoo".



6. The connect your network cable.



This will solve the issue.
