Clean your Registry can make your computer faster
Microsoft Registry Problems = Slow Computer!
The Windows registry, Containing information and settings for all the hardware, software, users, and preferences of your computer, whenever you make a change to the Control Panel settings, file associations, system policies, or installed software, the changes are reflected and stored in the registry.
When the Windows registry becomes very large, your computer’s can become very slow and it can cause it to be unstable.

What operating system do you have? You know like Windows 95, 98, XP or Vista
If you are using 95, 98 or XP you can clean your temp files. Even by cleaning them them under internet options does not always clear all of them out. You can go to Start, Run, then type in *.tmp (dont forget the start and dot) That will come up with all your temporary files you have stored on your computer. Just highlight them and then delete all. You can also clean your cookies. Also go to Start, Run and then type in cookies. Do the same delete all.
Once you have done that definately do a disk clean up and then run a defrag.
Sorry I can't help with Vista, haven't mastered that one yet. But I'm sure there are plenty of people here who have more experience with the newer version that can help! :)

If you are running on an old operating system, such as windows 95, upgrading to vista or xp could help. If you are already using this, getting a better processor more RAM definitely helps. Also, if you have only a small hard drive, when it gets filled up over about 75%, things can start to get slow, so getting a larger hard drive will help. A video card could also help, but probably not as much as the other options.
Good Luck.

You can use a registry cleaner to clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some registry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".
Every time you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you've installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it's Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Registry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically!
There are some comparison and review of TOP 5 registry cleaners.

Overclock it. Defrag it. Delete junk files. Perform disk cleanup. get a antivirus program that is less of a resource hog. Eliminate useless startup processes. Delete unused programs via the add/remove programs icon in the control panel. Easiest thing to do may be to just backup all critical data, reformat, and reinstall windows. If you don't have any experience in doing any of this maybe you have a friend who does...

Looks like that you need to clear your computer history because your computer keeps a record of all of your activity like what you are doing on internet, mail send or receive, files and documents that you have just views and etc.. it also store cache and cookies which makes your PC slow. Best way to remove all of these traces is to use an efficient software like I use History Clean. It is great!

delete files u don't need. Press Crtl+Alt+Dlt, any running programs that you are not using cancel and get rid of them. Keep your system up to date. Use a strong anti virus/malaware software such as avast or kaspersky so ur comp can be virus free pretty much

with most anti virus programs you can do disc clean up which helps by making progams that are scattered all around become more organized and run faster since things become eaiser to find for the computer.

unless you downloaded anything off of limewire or used any torrants, then your computer is running at its fastest. unless you have a bunch of programs running at the same time on the desktop (bottom right of ur computer next to the clock). right click on some of the icons and exit them if this is the case

You really only have two options to achieve higher speeds.
