How to install programs without Admin Rights (Windows Vista)?

My dad was the ONLY admin on the computer but he forgot his password and i had already had a limited account so when ever i try to install something i downloaded it says i need his password?!? None of us know the password! So is there a way to install something you downloaded without admin rights rights?! Can you? How do u do it?! Please help! Thanks

Without user Admin Rights password, it is impossible to install any program. Since your dad does not remember his password, he must reset it at the login screen. Select his username and look for possible password hints if he has one. If he doesn't, he'll have to reset the password.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. The only way to reset your windows password 100% safe is to use a software called Reset Password Pro.



The software allows you to create a boot-disk, that can be made on a CD/DVD or USB stick. The boot-disk can then be inserted into any locked machine, and it's a simple case of pressing reset. Here is their official site: http://www.resetwindowspass.com

u need admin rights to install that..

so you need a password reseter (search and download) try hirens

to reset your dad account password..
