When trying to send Email to someone at Juno I receive the error message below. I am able to send Email to this user from my ISP's Web Mail interface, but not from Outlook Express 6.x.

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'UserNameRemoved@juno.com'. Subject 'return from trip date', Account: '68.168.78.100', Server: 'smtp-server.roadrunner.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 relaying mail to juno.com is not allowed', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

CAUSE

Exchange Server 5.5 has an option to require credentials when connecting to the Internet Mail Service. Exchange 2000 also provides this option with SMTP. Click on the link below for information on this problem with outlook express.

There are a great form of explanation why. it relatively is a corrupt outbox folder, or your companies SMTP server ought to be experiencing subject. Or, somebody could have messed with our outgoing settings. considering which you're no longer getting a mail sent blunders i think corrupt folders. To rule out a corrupt outbox or sent folder close OUTLOOK convey and bypass to: C:records and settingscommunity Settingsapplication dataidentities{random characters}microsoftoutlook convey the folders with {random characters} which, there could in simple terms be one, is composed of the guy identities, once you are the only individual with an id there'll in simple terms be a sort of folders. in the outlook convey folder you will discover your diverse mail folders. you're finding for outbox.dbx and sent products.dbx. that's a much extra effective prepare to rename those with a .old extension fairly than delete them. yet for all functional purposes we ought to do away with those 2 records. you will unfastened each and every little thing on your sent products folder, yet because of the fact it relatively is in all probability corrupt besides you have already misplaced it. Re-open outlook convey and notice if it relatively is going to deliver. If no longer then there is a few sort of SMTP concern.

From your error message, it looks like you have Time Warner. We were having this same error, and after multiple phone calls to Time Warner's technical support we have the problem fixed. They kept insisting that it was an error on our computer, but it was their outgoing mail server. We now have our email rerouted to a different outgoing mail server and the problem is fixed.

Have you tried to send email to anyone else from Outlook Express? That would be the first thing to check. It sounds like Outlook Express could be set up incorrectly. That's what it sounds like to me. Outlook Express can be difficult to set up.
