URGENT PC Problems! Please Help!?

My first problem is that on some webistes, images are not showing up. I am using Google Chrome.

My second problem is that Some sites, such as GMail and yahoo mail say that they have weak algorithms. I cannot check my gmail at all (which I REALLY need to check often because I applied for a job yesterday) and I almost couldn't even log into yahoo to ask this question.

This is very frustrating and needs to be fixed, so any help is appreciated! I will pick a best answer (whoever's suggestion actually solves these problems)

The 3rd problem is that my computer also has a trojan virus called Sirefef.AK, Sirefef.M, and Sirefef.W that I can't get rid of. My virus protector quarantines it, but it comes back every 5 seconds I had to disable the virus protector's real time protection because it wasn't helping it and was popping up 3 times every 5 seconds...

This is urgent because I could get an email saying that I got the job and I won't even know it... and the virus could make my pc eventually crash and I do not have the money to fix it.

Kaspersky Lab refer to Win 32/Sirefef.A by another name. They call it PMax.a. They also consider it to be a rootkit, and not a trojan. Rootkits tend to reappear once you reboot...after they've apparently been removed.

This link leads to a removal tool for PMax.a. It's in zipped form, so you'll have to unzip it, then click on the .exe file to run it. It's called PMaxKiller.zip:

Once you've done that...

Try this:

Firstly, boot your computer to the Safe Mode menu screen. You do this by repeatedly pressing F8 as soon as you boot up. Once there, use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode with Networking. Continue to boot from there, by pressing Enter. You will now see some drivers being loaded. There will be a pause at some point. This usually lasts for no more than 30 seconds.

If that's successful, download and run TDSSKiller.exe from Kaspersky Lab. It's tiny, and takes just a minute to run. It hunts down and kills a specific family of rootkits:

Regardless of the results, download the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM). Install it, get updates and run a full scan (still in Safe Mode). This is a direct download link. Copy and paste it into your browser’s address bar, and press Enter.

After that, boot normally and run another full scan with MBAM. It will detect any malware that wasn’t running in Safe Mode.

If the problem still exists, download and run the free Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool:

http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/utility

You should now delete TDSSKiller.exe and the Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, as updated versions are often made available. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware can be easily uninstalled, should you wish to do so, but it may prove to be beneficial in the future.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like the trojan is the cause of the other two issues. I would suggest downloading/installing Search & Destroy, and then AVG Free Edition 2012. Between these two programs you should be able to wipe the trojan and continue on with a working computer!

Hope this helps.

Sounds like all your issues are coming from the Trojans. Your anti virus is not able to remove the virus because it is a running process that starts up when you login to your machine.

Press ALT+CTRL+DEL

click on processes and select random.exe.

Next click end process (This will kill the Trojan that is running)

Next click on start, run and type in regedit, then press enter.

Within the registry remove the follow entries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\random

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\run\ Trojan:Win32/Sirefef.AK

Finally do a search for and delete anything with the following names:

win32rundll.exe

dwm.exe

waudiohd.exe

The web problem could be due to the Trojan. I'd use another computer to download Microsoft Security Essentials, put the .exe on a flash drive, and open it on the infected computer. Or you could try to change the dns settings.

FIRST PROBLEM:

this problem usually occurs when your windows is expired...or u didn't enable java in your Google chrome.or its your internet problem...because it wont catch the dns server.

if instead of images showing, if it shows:

*[x] mark then its your java problem..you must enable it in your browser..or download a new version for your chrome through google.you can also check out how to enable from google.

*[website has expired] then its your internet problem try to diagonise it or or call required persons who set up your internet.

HOW TO ENABLE JAVA IN CHROME:

start>run:"C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome" -enable-javascript

-----------------------------------------

SECOND PROBLEM:

it is because of the same java etc...as in first problem...

it will get fixed after you enable java..

-------------------------------------------

THIRD PROBLEM:

try changing your antivirus to AVAST!!!! it is the best and latest..

it will completely remove any virus from your pc..and it wont irritate you by sending pop ups....

or else try deleting the virus manually..

----------------------------------------

Gud luck my friend..tried my best to help you..if i was helpful...do as u said..sin o.
