My Computer won't Shutdown! Whenever i press the shutdown button, it will go to the usual shutdown screen and it will stay like that for like infinity I guess? I tried waiting it out by sleeping and by morning, it is still at the shutdown screen sayin"shuting down" ever since I pressed the Shutdown Button, need help coz Im worried

Tried to lower my processes up to like 35 only and ram usage to 27% (3.5 GB RAM) and still the same result, safe mode works though but it felt like a 90's style computer and it irritates me, Cleaned the registry And defragmented it. And still the same

Pleaes Help :(

A failure to shutdown means that your system is unable to close something in a critical state. This is not a bad thing, it just means that there is a process keeping it on. Try to remember the last time you shutdown and it worked and remove whatever system changes you have done since then.

That or run a system restore to the last known working date.

It sounds like you tried everything you needed to. And it could be a list of many things so like others said before me try reinstalling windows... It will be the safest rout you can go and it will guarantee a fix
