how do you I get rid of large spaces in my word doc.?

im making a study guide for math. I am using bullet points. but at the end of each page there is a 4.5 inch empty space. I didn't put any extra enters OR change the margins. If it makes a difference i have a mac and it's microsoft word: mac 2008
i am also having other weird problems with this document

how do I stop all of this and have it just be normal?

Go to the page following the one with the large gap at the bottom and select the first paragraph at the top of that page. Go to Format>Paragraph and click on the Line and Page Breaks tab. Uncheck Page Break Before if it is selected.



Another possibility is that there are a large number of paragraphs all with the Keep with Next option checked which means Word will keep them all together forcing page breaks where you don't want them. If this is the case apply the Keep with next option more selectively and you will find your page breaks will adjust.

1) You have a lot of before and/or after space in your paragraph formatting.



2) The table on the right page in the second link can't fit on the bottom of the left page without breaking, and you probably have it set to not break, so it gets moved to the next page.



3) Check your footer. If you have a lot of blank lines in it, you'll have a lot of blank space at the bottom of every page.



4) Check your margins, especially the bottom one.
