ARW files are probably Sony RAW image format (i.e. from a Sony digital camera)

They can be opened by various graphics programs. Many Adobe programs can open ARW files as can other graphic programs like ACDSee. Able RAWer is a free RAW image utility that supports ARW files.

You can download for free ACDSee here http://bit.ly/1rdLmVm.

It's useful to view and print your photos quickly.
