Computer Problem PLEASE HELP?

So what happened is I downloaded Gimp, but when I double clicked on the setup this happened. First, my taskbar and start button are not visible. My task manager will NOT open, I already checked about 15 or 20 times. And my desktop icons are not visible. My curor is animated and won't move, I can also not right click. WHAT THE ***** DO I DO? PLEASE, I HAVE LOTS OF IMPORTANT SHI T ON MY COMPUTER! PLEASE HELP

what you turn your computer on hit f12 a bunch of times and it should bring up the option to run your computer in safe mode so you want to select safe mode with networking. after that log in and once your in run a scan on your computer using an anti virus program like avast malwarebytes etc..

It probably just crashed. Restart your computer, and copy everything you have to a secure place, in case you get the BSOD later on.
