Zen cart and Paypal Express Checkout question?

I am trying to configure my Zen cart store. My host just told me that I don't need the cURL for my site so:
Configuration > My store > cURL Proxy Status = False

Further, I have inserted the API details in my payments module but I am still getting -CURL NOT FOUND. Cannot Use.

Help! I need Express Checkout for my store!

Your host is incorrect- you do need cURL for express checkout.



From the PayPal module:

*CURL is used for bidirectional communication with the gateway, so must be active on your hosting server (if you need to use a CURL proxy, set the CURL proxy settings under Admin->Configuration->My Store.)



You do not need a proxy, so setting the config cURL Proxy Status = False is fine, but that does not change the fact that cURL must be installed on your server.



Click on "version" at the top right of your admin page.



You should see something like '--with-curl=/opt/curlssl/' in the Configure Command. If you do not, ask your host to enable cURL.





This also appears in my "version" page, and I have express checkout enabled.

I do when they seem to have a lot of items. One day the guy behind me (who was older than my 54 years) seemed perturbed as the guy in front of me had about 25 items in a "12 items or less" line. That guy looked to be around 35. I turned to the guy behind him and asked how old he thought the guy was -because it would be interesting to determine just when it was that they stopped teaching math in the schools.

hi shivangi, the first time you use paypal you must do it with a sales person then it starts getting easier like i ordered a video of doctor who and a video card so i wrote it in like they told me then they told me how to place my order then they told me to apply and they told me that they recieved it and i got my order and they got my money in this sell and buy so call for a sales person and he will go over it and even send you a verifaction by e-mail with tracking numbers and as quick as a wink you get you merchandize. but the next order you can do it yourself with out anyones help. good luck hope i was helpful to you
