500 internal server error?

I did two things and one of those or both caused the 500 error. I am using CMS Joomla. From my domain panel i made forwarding of my site from www.onlineyoga.in to www.onlineyoga.in/astangayoga. Also i uninstalled some components. Now my site is having 500 internal error. Please help.

In your forward directory /astangayoga do you have a default home page that is recognized such as 'index.html'? If not then you'll need one in order for it to pull up. Most hosting company's use a default set of files to look for as a 'home page' document: index.html, default, html, index.asp, etc. So make sure you have one or in your redirect, specify a particular file in the path that you want to load.

I played a little with my jailbroken ipod and found out either two things 1. Servers too busy,not allowing you to download or 2.This worked, in the begging your given a security thing a word if you put it in incorrect it says the 500 error but if you do it correct it will take you to fileape , dude and then you have to get filedude correct or else it will say error 500, in other words get the security thing right , this solved my problem hope it helps.

If you are using Internet Explorer Click on Tools and go to Internet Options



Click on Advanced

Under here uncheck the box that says Show Friendly errors.



Now visit the page with the error again so it will give you more details information on what's causing the issue.



This can help in further determine what exactly is happening in more detail.



Can you still visit the website www.onlineyoga.in ?



The most likely cause is that Onlineyoga.in is looking for a particular type of file as the start page and that file type maybe isn't present in the folder you are redirecting to possibly?



Or it may simply be that you configured the redirect incorrectly because when I visit that page it doesn't redirect at all. My vote goes to the redirect being configure improperly.

Look in the server log - that will tell you what kind of error you threw on which line of which file.

so plz check ur address properly ...
