URGENT! COMPUTER HELP?

Question

i have a hp pavillion dv 1111
it has a touch panel, and the buttons on this light up. they are all working perfectly, except the volume button. when on mute, it is supposed to go an orange colour and when the sound is enabled it goes a white light colour.
when i press it, it works and turns on and off the volume, but the colour does not change. (it stays orange 24/7)
anyone know how to solve this?

Have you recently updated the drivers? HP may put a little pop up on your computer which asks you if you would like to. There is a possibility there is a bug in this and it may be fixed in the next update.



If not, updating your drivers may help.



Have you installed or uninstalled any software recently?

Possibly re-install the sound driver and touchpad driver.

Well, seeing as it works, it's not too urgent, but try tweaking around in Control Panel
