Every time when I open an aplication such as word / excel / ppt / paint / visual studio etc., in the file's menu it shows recently opened files list. How to de-activate such list so that it never happen again ? I don't want any other softwares such as CCleaner to do this for me. I want to know where are the settings of such applications so that I manually do it of my own.

Ok so you gotta do it for every application. Under the tools menu, select options, or settings, [whatever it is in English, I have a Spanish version of it], and on the General tab, there is a 'show recent files' checkbox. Just uncheck it, and apply changes.
