how can I open a password protected Microsoft Word file without the password?

when I created the file I set it up with a password but I forgot it afterwards.....is there any way to recover or break that password in order to open that file? please please please

Nope. That is one of the warnings you get when you password protected it. You can not access it without the password once you protect. Otherwise, if there were a trick to getting around it, what would the point of password protection be?

There is actually a program out there (for a price) that can crack the password. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name. Google should help you find it. It wasn't cheap the last time I looked at it so don't be surprised if this is painful.

there are many programs you can buy to crack it, they are are from 15.00 up, and there are a couple of free ones that work. I used one called ultimate zip cracker the other day and it found it
