when i start my computer and try to log in my user account in windows xp, it doesn't log me in and it logs me right back out. i tried going in safe mode on my computer and made a new account and i tried going into that new user account but it still logs me right back out. why is this happening? (i'm NOT talking about yahoo accounts, i'm talking about the USER ACCOUNTS that you go in when you start your computer in windows XP)

try creating a new non-admin account from manage->users and groups (right click on My Computer-> Manage),

before trying to log into it

- boot your system in safe mode with command prompt

- log in as Administrator,

- in the dos console write "regedit" (without the quotes).

- check your registry keys under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Software / Microsoft / Windows / Current_Version / Run"

- delete any suspicious keys

- reboot your computer and voila.

i guess some program that is executed on login time is logging you out. so you should search for such program.

Or your windows could have crashed somehow, maby you deleted some system files...

Good Luck

Hmmm. I guess you could go back into safe mode and delete all of the user accounts so it will go into the administrator account. I don't know what else to say. I don't like to blame things on a virus all the time, but this might be the case.

Log onto a working laptop or workstation that could link to the cyber web. obtain abode windows Password Unlocker 4.0 and decompress it on that laptop. be conscious that: there's a .ISO document. Burn the .ISO document to a CD. 2.Get out the newly created CD and insert it to the locked workstation. 3.Re-boot the locked workstation and then persist with the technique of training. only after some steps, the old password would be got rid of. 4.Set new password: Step a million: Open the "administration Panel Step 2: click the "consumer Account Step 3: go with the account you wanna set a clean password. Step 4: click "changing Account " and "set up Password", then fill out the form as indexed. click "Create Password".

Login to your account in safe mode. The click start->run->type msconfig

then open "startup" tab. Disable suspicipous entries of most entries for just fixing this issue. once you are able to normally login to windows, then again reselect the startup entries one-by-one.

Hope this helps

I would boot from your Windows XP CD and run a repair installation of your current XP installation.
