Downloaded Zoo tycoon 2 expansions??

Question

I downloaded Marine Mania, Extinct Animals and African Adventure last night, from MiniNova (torrents) but I don't know how to make them work!
Do I have to put them on a cd or dvd or something?
Some of the files included are *.BIN, *.R00, *.SFV, *.CUE and *.RAR.

Someone please help! Thanks.

Here we go. First off download Daemon tools (a virtual disk for the *.bin files, the .*cue files go with these too.) Then download winrar for the *.rar files. The *.svf files is an informational file for the bin and cue files the .r00 goes with the .rar files.



The easy one. *.bin file, this is an disk image file so run and install daemon tools once installed then right click on the tray icon and select viral disk and then mount image then go to the directory where the file is located and select it and the image file is then mounted. If it is auto-run it should start otherwise you can go to my computer and double click it and it should run. Most games require that the image be mounted as you are playing it so just leave it there daemon tools is very good on resources. Enjoy your game.



*.RAR, This is a try of compressed file similar to *.zip files but the *.rar file gives better compression and superior folder handling proprieties and inherently allows for file spanning making it much easier to upload to newsgroup sites and the like. Just find the correct name file with the *.rar behind it and extract it to the desired directory. I always make sure that I extract to a new folder named for the file I am extracting so I don't get files mixed up, real easy to do if they don't organize their compressed file. After extracting then go to the folder and see what you got! If you have a *.bin and *.cue file again these are image files and you can either use daemon tools to mount the image and use it as is or if you have Nero or magic ISO maker you could even burn it to CD! Daemon tools is easier because it doesn't have the problems with disk checking that burning a disk may have.



I hope this is helpful. All the programs that I outlined here are all free and can be downloaded just by googling them and finding the sites. It all sounds really complex but once you figure it out it is a snap!

if anyone has the extension .exe then you have to run it. if not ten there there should me some read me file which will give you all the instructions and if you deselected that read me file from downloading then you need it to download again. as much i know,these files need to be placed in your program files directory but where and how will be told by that read me file.
