no actually u have to make a call to bsnl customer care and u have to ask for ur portal id then they will ask ur phone number and will tell u tht they will ring on ur phone ..........about 15 minutes later they will call on ur landline and tell u ur portal id

portal id is of 14 digit mine is like this mti34912144990 so they will tell u different one and they will also tell password with it.......if they dont u have to ask coz its password is different from password u use to start internet in r pc in beggining both may be same

Portal ID is different from User ID or Customer ID. It is a 14 character ID mainly of the form abc58825122008.

You can get your Portal ID from your exchange. They keep it in their records. A phone call will do the trick.

Find out whether your username and password you are using are correct or not from the BSNL office. They will reset the password for your broadband and then you can change the password again as per your desire.

Go to your modem's settings > Status > Statistics.

There you will see the total bytes you received.
