Wake up and look through Windows. You will find that Microsoft is not the only server operating system in the world. You can use the same server operating system that runs 95% of the top 500 worlds faster HPC (High Powered Computers) Just to mention a few, the same server operating system that Google, Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo and the financial markets Wall Street, London Sock Exchange use. for real time stock trading Linux comes FREE, with everything you need for different types of servers

Here are a few you can look at. To explain about Linux, It is a Free Open Source Operating System supported and developed by the biggest names in computer hardware Companies Intel, IBM AMD ATI, Hp, Dell, If you go to Hp or Dells websites and look for servers you will see that they use Linux for their business systems

Every Linux distribution has all the server software on their latest November 2011 releases here are some you can look at Like I said these are free to download and use They are fast, they are stable and secure there are more but these should wet your appetite for server software to begin with

Are you trying to install windows 2008 on top of the windows 2003 partition you just tried to installed or not? if so, you won't be the first.

However, it won't work. if the server does not have an dvd drive, use another pc that do and transplant the new hard drive, to the production server, when it reboot (warm boot) after it expands all that files.

Basically, windows 2008 does not copy files in a fresh install (if you boot clean, not bootstrap from windows, and is babysitting the installer as opposed to using some RIS). The files are ON the disks, windows installer only expands it. Moreover, you want a fresh install if that's the only disk.

IF you still think there's a problem with that hard drive, especially if it had been previously used., there's a fix to convert a protected partition on dynamic disk back to basic disk:

OR you can get gparted, they made ports of those for windows, too.

Formatting any number of passes won't convert it back to basic. It's only basic if it's fresh out of the box with no previous windows server partitions on there.

When I had an one of my xeries 445 boot off an sata drive, I had connected the drive a desktop and did the required operation (see above). only then could it be used.

You can connect an SAS hdd to an desktop SATA controller. the rest is just basics.

Penny stocks are loosely categorized companies with share prices of below $5 and with market caps of under $200 million. They are sometimes referred to as "the slot machines of the equity market" because of the money involved. There may be a good place for penny stocks in the portfolio of an experienced, advanced investor, however, if you follow this guide you will learn the most efficient strategies https://tr.im/ed075
