OKay, I have one bit torrent file that is not working.(Its a down red arrow) It doesn't have ANY seeds or leaches. Its not the size of the file because I have a file WAY bigger than it that I am currently downloading and is currently working. Its 170 mb its at 20.5% and I've had it for 9hrs. I've turned off my firewall.

The file is very odd. When I first downloaded it, it worked perfectly. I had to restart my computer because I downloaded another program you had to do that. When I got back on my computer it didn't work. I didn't know what to do so I left it and did a few other things. Then I noticed that one of my files was done so I looked on Bit Torrent, and my problem file was working. About an hour later I checked on Bit Torrent again, then my file wasn't working anymore. Please help!

You've picked a file with no seeds or peers so the likelyhood it is not going to download until somebody uploads it that is why it is downloading a small bit then not because not many people have it up for downloading. When picking a torrent you should always pick one with a good seed to peer ratio. A torrent with say 2800 seeds and say 1000 leechers should download quicker than a torrent with say 4500 seeds and 7000 leechers. Your speed of downloading will also depend on other peoples download speeds if your are downloading from someone that has a download speed of 20kb/s then thats the speed you will get also. There are many different factors that affect download speed that is just one of them

Usually you can't view your files when in use from another program. If it's not downloading, its probably because simply there is no seeds or leaches to download or upload from. You might not have been able to see your file because someone was downloading it, or you viewed it when Bit Torrent was off. If the file stalls like that, you usually just have to be patient, the source lists refreshes every once in a while. (I use Ares and my sources refresh every 15 minutes.) Your file couldn't of been working also if you restarted your computer at that time, because sometimes Bit Torrent loses track of your file progress when completed after you restart, so you still have the file within your computer, but it's not able to be viewed through the Bit Torrent shortcut to the folder. Sorry if that's a bit lengthy... XD

the way torent works is somebody makes a torrent report, and uploads this litle report , while u get carry of it it link u to his pc and u get carry of it from that adult males pc no longer from internet site, then a hundred human beings get carry of it and share it with others. and thats significant for u to enable different persons get carry of it and dont be egocentric, some web pages even have raiting , like u cant get carry of two times as extra u upload( seed leech)
