It will only delete un-needed files, such as temp files, temp internet files and so forthe. it will not delete any saved documents

Agreed. To delete word files U have to choose them your self. Disk cleanup wont affect them.

what problems exactly is youtube giving you? And no, windows disk cleanup does not alter, delete, or move word files. It cleans a selected drive of temporary internet files, program files (active x, java), recycle bin, and other misc background files not needed for everyday use.

When you run disk cleanup, it will list the type of files that it is about to remove. If needed, I think you can view the specific files, but i'm not certain. It will not delete word files that you need.
