My PC config is as follows
Intel 915 GAV motherboard,P4 @ 3.0 Ghz,512 MB RAM.
NFS Carbon gets installed perfectly,but whenever I try to run it , it crashes reporting error. But the same game runs perfectly on dual core processors. What might be the problem?

I think i would have given a better answer if you have given me the error code or error message.

But seeing the configuration i think you should be able to play the game.

Here are a few things to note.

1. Go to www.intel.com and get the latest drivers for ur 915 GAV Mother Board. ( Including Graphics, Chipset and Sound)

2. Install or Reinstall Direct X 9

If the game still doesnt work.

Change the Desktop resolution to lower values.

Change the game resolution to lower values.

Turn off features like Anti Aliasing etc and set Grphic details to Medium or Low

If you need any clarifications please get back to me.

well the basic specs of the pc are fine,

if anything were to be an issue i'd think

your video hardware probally isnt meeting

the requirements as stated

---------------------------------------

* Windows XP Service Pack 2 (32Bit Edition only), Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 4 operating system

* Intel Pentium 4 (or equivalent) CPU running at 1.7GHz or higher

* 512MB or more RAM

* 64MB DirectX 9.0c compatible video card (NVIDIA Geforce4 Ti/ATI Radeon 8500 or higher) using a

supported chipset (see below)

* DirectX compatible sound card

* 5.3 GB of HD space

* 8X or faster DVD Drive

I have this game for Xbox 360, and not for comp so i may be wrong but i play some pretty demanding games on my comp (NFS Carbon probably is) and they dont play well on other computers without dual core like mine, so what i am saying is that your computer probably doesnt meet the requirements. Hope this helps

If no pics card then proper click on table click properties-settings-adapter then in case you integrated pics memory is equivalent or better than 128mb then you absolutely should be ready to run the game.
