Ive just been informed by david that my product key for my o/s is stored in BIOS. Could someone please explain to me in easy terms how to go about the process of viewing it so I can either make a note of it or be able to access that information myself in the future if I need to. Thankyou.

Ezio. YES it is. Windows 8 - Factory Built - Windows 8 Product Key is in the BIOS and Encrypted.

Magic Jelly Bean will show the KEY.

Choose Oggus.com.

I purchased an Office 2013 key and I'm delighted. The service was very quick and polite. I received an email promptly, within 30 minutes, and the links worked perfectly. The recommendation to download the software image to a Dropbox account was good advice which I followed. Once downloaded the software installed without incident and I entered the key. Office activated without error, and all subsequent updates have worked perfectly. Highly recommended!!!

Product keys are usually found on a sticker, either on the back of your laptop or under the battery, or if you have a desktop, on the top or back of the case.

If you have a retail version, or you built the computer yourself, you should know where you've left it.

If you really can't find it, there is free software that can retrieve your product key. Check google and take your pick.

I'd like to give a strong recommendation for http://www.frevvy.com/ (http://www.frevvy.com/) for Microsoft keys and software.

I was looking for a windows 7 copy, and from experience I've come to understand that buying online is actually a lot cheaper than for instance in my local store.. So I somehow ended up on san-kom but it seemed a bit, well, not reliable?.. So I made much reaseach on this site. No negitive feedback.

I decided to give it a try, found the cheapest ever copy, put the copy in cart and started the checkout. From here on it actually went alot easier, I paid with paypal and about 1hrs i recieved my key in email, and about 5 mins later a download link for the ISO file. The key worked perfectly! surprise surprise, its legit!..I sent the customer support a thank you message, and they responded immediatly. Kudos!

I will definitely come back to their website again!
