Ok, so basically we just bought a new laptop and need to use Outlook to work out beachbody.com business emails, however, every time we try to load Outlook we get a box that asks for the Microsoft exchange server and the mailbox. We want to hook Outlook up to Comcast.net since they're our email providers, but I don't know what to put in for the exchange server information.
Also, I looked online and found some information about going into the controlling panel to add the Microsoft email account but that didn't help, I got the same message about the exchange server, and when I tried to load Outlook afterwards it just says its not connected and it shuts down.
Please help me find the information to put in that box because its driving me nuts at this point.
Thanks

go to control panel open mail and then click email accounts, if you dont have anything there its fine, if you have some account configured and you dont want that delete it, then click new and you have to mention the type of account you want, for comcast its pop3

Comcast:

POP3: pop3.comcast.net Port 110

SMTP: smtp.comcast.net Port 587

ESMTP should be enabled

SSL: NO

User name must NOT include @comcast.net

type the above settings, for mentioning the port you got to go to more settings and advanced and then mention the port numbers

You have to choose to set up a POP or IMAP account. Comcast doesn't have an Exchange server.
