I inserted my flash drive and accessed my pictures and stuff, but I am totally unable to delete or rename any of the files. When I inserted my cell phone's SD card, I couldn't delete any of the files from THERE either! When I right-click them, DELETE is not one of the options, and when I press the delete button, nothing happens. What could be wrong? Any help?

The SD card is having a very small notch on its side which moves u and down check it it may be in the locked position so you need to shift it a little bit so that it will come to a mode when you will be able to delete or rename things of your SD card. The second possibility is that you are not logged in as an administrator in your computer so try logging again as the administrator.....

I'm not sure but i had a similar problem on my comp a few days ago and the systems guy had to go to the server and allow me the rights to alter / delete files on it...maybe it's the same issue bout user rights on your PC!

I do believe that your file protection is on. Try Right clicking your folders and files and setting them as archive files instead of read only.

You can also try to run "cmd" in your taskbar. and type attrib -r to remove write access protection.

Hope this helps.

once you attempt to rename the document provide it an extention i.e. filename.checklist (for a be conscious document). distinctive extensions for various documents. in spite of the reality which you have got documents which you won't be able to do something with, I even have made a folder for those variety of documents, referred to as "do no longer touch" & positioned all of them in there, till i stumble on out their place.
