would it be better to buy a mac or pc for college math, physics, chemistry, and maybe law courses....which type would have better physics materials and better math programs.....please give reasons.......not just biased......please help.....thanks

The answer here is what software is required for the courses.

My quess is choosing a PC, all of the software for these courses would work fine.

Choosing a Mac would be my choice, but I doubt the software would not be available, or compatible.

A Mac is more stable and trouble free.

The key is. Will any of the software that you need for any of these courses work with your MAC.

Well, PCs have much more programs on it, and it would be easier to find free programs. It depends on what your courses ask for. But chances are, they will support PC some way or another.

definitely pc as many programs are for it and it is very customizable



you could use mac but then you would be missing out on some amazing emulators and comp. mods.



also pc is alot bettr now that they have windows 7

i am in prime tuition now, and i love bio and math. however i am additionally taking chem, that is more difficult for me..:P i are not looking for physics to be what i wanna be,, so yeah. however physics is cool.
