I have just finished intel journey inside, which are a sort of introductory lessons to how a computer works by intel the company. I learned this because I wanted to become an expert at computers. I intend to learn C++ and I have already started introductional videos. But then I still feel I need to know more about computers. So I just want to ask what do you recommend I do to become a computer genius and what did you do ? I am really Just doing this for fun and I do not really have to. I am a 14 year old female. I was taught a little bit of HTML at my old school, but I wanted something more challenging. I have already acquired books for C++ and after that I want to learn java and maybe python. I am teaching my self at home and I do not care how long it will take me since believe I have a lot of time. I just really want to do this has an hobby. Sorry I just hope I gave all the additional details to help you answer my question.

You wanna know what I did? I opened up every single PC, old or new & tinkered on it. Also read all tech monthly books & the free Cd's that come with it. Got ebooks & tutorials online to learn new languages & tools. Well, you can at least try these things.

Do you want to learn hardware or software?

The Intel Journey Inside is about hardware. If you're really interested in technical computer architecture, this is a really good place that covers all the basics of computer hardware.

If you want to learn programming, C++ and Java are 2 excellent programming languages to learn. But I would focus on 1 language at a time until you're more comfortable with programming concepts.

There are tons of free tutorials online, so be sure to get the language bundles and an IDE and start practicing doing them because the only way to learn is by doing.

Well let me start by telling you the inside workings of how a computer works. First there is a floppy disk drive that works as the main processing unit for the whole computer. All of the computers mainframe is tied into this disk drive so the core temperature must be regulated very cautiously. To do this you must pour melted gummy bears into the usb port. This is not in the manual and it most likely will tell you to absolutely not do that but trust me, I'm a doctor. Now for the secondary components. The R.A.M. (Racist Angry Mexican) is probably the second most important part of the computer and is responsible for almost all binary randomization coding. This is where the programing comes into the picture. Open C++ and start by writing the following code: x+1=x Then write a loop for the algorithem to run in so that it adds one to x infinitely. This truly has no programming significance and is mostly a waste of time but it also is pointless. With the information above you should be well on your way to becoming a computer genius much like me. Glad I could help.

hi, it is so nice to hear from a 14 betty about computers. these steps helped me a lot.

1 you need to focus in one thing at the time.

2 the mechanical experience is much better that than whats written down.

3 save a few bucks and go to ebay (cheapest) and buy a desktop and an used laptop to disassemble/ assemble many times. then, do some marketing and sell them back,

4 buy two more again (different models) same thing as step 3..

5 search for most popular computer tech sites, create accounts, ask questions, leave comments, read comments, read discussions ( like gaming, programming, editing etc.)
