The screen says,
"Checking file system on C:
The type of the file system is NTSF.
Volume label is SQ004981V02.

One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency. You may cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended that you continue.
Windows will now check the disk.
An unspecified erroe occured."

What the hell does that mean?

This happens in Windows XP / Vista / 7. When you switch off the computer instead of using the power button or close down in the start options. Every time you start windows. It keeps files, set things for you current activities.

When you don’t turn of the computer properly, these get left behind, you may also find you have temporary files from downloading Etc. These will eventually fill your hard drive if not removed.

Next time you turn on your computer, open My Computer, right click on the drive called C:\ , and chose defrag drive, this will sort out your files, as well as checking the hard drive itself for errors. If you bump a computer when it is reading or writing to the hard drive, this can some times cause a bad sector.

Hope this helps. CDR

If you have a USB connected to the computer take it out, if you still have the same problem after you have disconnected any phone, IPod, USB memory est. then click on start computer right click the C drive and do a disk check that will fix any windows files problem. The Checking system means that you have bad windows file or corrupt windows files. If it continues after all this you will need to re-install windows

If you can boot into Windows and have an Internet connection download startupcpl from MIke Lin's page and install it. This will give you a new icon in your control panel named 'Startup'. Run it and go to the RunOnce tab. You should see the link. Delete it and reboot.

The only other way to do this would be run\regedit and do a search for 'Runonce' and delete the entry from there.

Looks like your hard drive took a dump. Your computer isn't able to load windows and is trying to figure out why, but getting stopped when your hard drive doesn't respond.

Bring it in to get another hard drive and use your recovery disks afterwards to bring it back to functionality.
