The other day I got an email from me, to me...It looked similar to this

From: Dr. Kohan (my actual email)
To: My name (my actual email)

Does anyone know how this is done???

There is no check or verification on the sender's email address. You can plug pretty much anything into there when you send an email. How it is done depends on the program used to send the message. I think in Outlook Express it is simply a matter of changing your preferences to show the "from" box when composing an email.

I hate it when I get a responds back from someone and it says it was sent by "me" instead of my name. How do I get my name back in the sent from instead of the word "me" I'm using Yahoo mail. I'm not emailing myself. I send a email to someone and it says it was send my the word "Me" It doesn't have my name or my email address.

Currently all emails in draft and sent folders show "me" in the sender column.

Have I been hacked?

probably a server glitch. emailing yourself though is a good thing when you first signup for an email account to make certain your account is active.
