Are you using comcast and ComCast phone service? This happened to me all the time. The only fix is you have to reboot the box and connect it to a new computer. But if you can provide me with your router's make and model, and your ISP, and location (Just general area, Dallas, TX or something) I would be more than happy to help you!

I have had that same problem before. Here is some things to try:

1) unplug the power from your router and count to twenty then plug it back in.

2) if one doesn't work than call you ISP (Internet Service Provider) and they might tell you that you need a new router. (if not ask if it might be that because they are usually morons)

3) It might be your phone lines or the ones outside your house.

The easiest way, if you have a provider with sane tech support, is to call them. I'm betting that your router isn't picking up the DNS addresses. Maybe because you have it set to the wrong type of connection. (It should probably be DHCP.) Look in the router (no idea where without knowing the router and, then, I could only give you a Linksys address [which is http://192.168.1.1/Status_Router.asp - the DHCP setting would be at http://192.168.1.1/index.asp ]) to see what's going on.
