Help needed with rar files extracting to avi files.?

Hi, have download winrar and tried to use this, but i feel like a real idiot, dont understand! Please could someone tell me how I extract the avi file from rar in really easy steps and language?! I have the rar files on my computer and winrar downloaded. So, how do I get the movie file from the rar files? Thanks.

Try to right click on that file and then click on Extract files. Something will pop up. Just make sure you choose the first answer on both Update Mode and Overwrite Mode. Other than that you shouldn't be placed a check mark or chosen. Then click on OK. Right Click on again on the file, then click on Extract Here or Extract to....

If those methods still didn't work, then file is maybe broken or missing something.

Double click the .rar file

There should be an extract button on the top menu

Click it

Follow the instructions (select a place, hit extract, wait, bam)
