My computer broke and then we sent it back to the manufatuer or whatever and he "fixed" it. He resarted my computer so like it's an new one. But later on it developed more problems. Now evertime i turn it on it gives me a message saying were sorry for the inconvinence blah blah blah and then it listes options like safe mode, configure windows, star windows normally and a couple more. everytime I click one (and iv tried them all) it loads then flashes a blue screen with words so fast i cant even read it the restarts the whole thing over again! what should i do?

Never turn it off by holding down the power button. EVER if you can help it. I only use that button in emergencies, like if a virus is trying to hack its way into my computer. My advice? Use the shut down option on the "Start" menu. This shuts the computer of properly, and closes programs that are still open if need be. The blue screen you see, as many others have informed, is indeed the blue screen of death, similar to the red ring of death if you use gaming consoles(at least I've heard of this.)

There really is one option... either go to a professional for help (may not help though) or just buy a new computer, because... well... the power button is a murderer.

My friend and I were using my laptop the other day, and they decided to go to a game site that I decided I didn't want them on, so I repetitivelyy used the power button to shut it down... I got the blue screen. Granted, I was lucky and it wasn't permanent, but in your case I'm not too sure that it's temporary...

Wish I could be of more help... maybe you can get a new PC for christmas?

If you do not power down your computer correctly (through Start - Shutdown) and just power it off with the power button, it'll always come up with the options to get to Safe mode, etc. on power up. Choose Last Known Good Configuration mode.

It sounds like you have a virus. Try repeatedly pressing F8 when you power on and see if you can get it to go into Safe Mode with Networking, if you can then download Malwarebytes Antimalware from www.malwarebytes.org. Install and run it and should clear your computer of malware.

probably a faulty drive. Needs a new one in that case. But you need someone to check that is the problem. It is possible to create this problem by installing incorrect drivers or making unsafe software changes.

Sounds like a corrupted load - very probably a failing hard drive. If it is still under warranty, use it.

That is known as the blue screen of death, I recommend sending it back to the manufacture.

I would send it back, and tell them to reformat, and reinstall windows.
