Is there a way to make TOR faster without sacrificing anonymity? I just downloaded the TOR bundle and it is very slow. Again, I do NOT want to sacrifice anonymity.

The biggest issue with the browser bundle is that it's of special interest to the FBI and they have recently exploited it successfully. There's also the issue of the Tor software taking process cycles from your machine. Best way now is to use a router that has Tor embedded in it like a PAPARouter (http://www.paparouter.com). You can anonymize one or several devices just by connecting to the router's wireless access point all for under $100. Best of all these guys EXCLUDE all US and US intelligence friendly exit nodes. Using the Tor bundle on windows is really risky though. Hope this helps.
