CTRL ALT DEL - fix this crap!

CTRL C - copy

CTRL V - paste

CTRL A - select all words



ALT + 0000 - 9999

this allows you to access evey letter and symbol you can think us

press and hold Alt, type a 4 digit number - you can also type charmap in RUn... and get a decent app that will find the symbols for you

Non-platform-specific shortcuts

F1 - Help - Opens an application's help feature

Alt+F4 - Quit - Quits the current application

ModC-A - Select All - Selects the entire document for copying, deletion, etc.

ModC-C(or Ctrl-Ins) - Copy - Copy currently selected text or object to clipboard

ModC-O - Open - Allows the user to select a file to open in the current application

ModC-P - Print - Prints the current document, or pops up a dialog box with printing options

ModC-Q - Quit - Quits the current application

ModC-X(or Shift-Del) - Cut - Cut (remove) currently selected text or object from document and copy it to the clipboard

ModC-V(or Shift-Ins) - Paste - Paste current contents of clipboard at current location in document

Option-delete -Delete word - Delete one word backwards from the cursor.

Option-left/right arrow - Move cursor by word. Moves the cursor forward or backward one word at a time.

Cmd- ~ Cycle through windows of current application. Useful in conjunction with Cmd-Tab.

Cmd- + (Make text larger.)

Cmd- - (Make text smaller.)

Ctrl-K - emacs-style Kill - Kill line from cursor to end-of-line into the kill-ring.

Ctrl-Y - emacs-style Yank - Yank text from the kill-ring.
