Disconnect your system from the Internet.
Sir, since you have formatted your hard drive, first, it is better to have two small hard drives for your operating systems or a 74 - 80 GB hard drive for the two OS and other drives for your data drives.
If you have two separate drives format one and load WINDOWS XP, you must have WIDOWS XP installation CD with valid registration number.
If you are using only one disk for both OS, Install WIN XP,
During install, delete all partitions, create two partitions.
One 20GB for XP and the rest for Advance Server, hopefully, more than 30GB.
Create the larger Partition First, and then create the smaller partition.
Select the smaller partition to install XP. Install motherboard drivers and utilities, then all other XP software and utilities.
Install antivirus and Firewall.
Install Advance Server onto its hard drive, or into the larger partition. If you have two hard disks for the OS, be sure to set the BIOS to boot from Server HD.
During the installation a dual boot menu will be created.
Install motherboard drivers/utilities, all server drivers and software. You cannot use XP drivers unless the manufacturer stipulates that the drivers are for both OS.
Install anti virus and firewall.
Now connect to internet and go to www.microsoft.com and let this site update both OS and install IE 7, direct X10 for both OS.
You must do these updates for both systems.
When both systems are finished, create backup images of each partition or hard drive. This will give you clean restores if you need it.
