How do you get a screen recorder to only record sounds from the computer?

Windows Movie Maker won't let me save my video, so I download Camstudio to record it on Windows Movie Maker, but whenever I do it picks up background sounds from the room I'm in. How can I get it to just record sounds on the computer?

i wouldn't use camstudio to record audio. Try audacity, it's free and is a sound editor and recorder.
