Dear, have you used some program like CCleaner or other that cleans your hard disk ? See, I had the same problem a time ago, I've been deleted the folders in my Recycle Bin by mistake and wanted to get them back..I went to the option "Restore", but actually it does not worked and finally I wasn't able to get back my files.

The reason could be also in the virus you have, they make such nasty things..

Well, you can download at least not only one free program for scanning your PC..but that will not resolve the issue you have at hand.

Try to go to an earlier date before you've been attacked by the virus..!! That should help!!

Another thing you can do If ultimately nothing go well, First " Reboot your PC", when the first flickers of flash appeared immediately start to click on the "F8", then you can select " Restart your PC from the last date, etc. when worked fine" ( I am paraphrasing it, sorry)..or from there you can choose the option to go to an earlier date ( System restore).

Wish you luck!

A system restore does not restore files and folders that you've deleted, it just resets the registry and Windows system files. People need to understand that a system restore is no the end-all to their computer problems. In fact, it's the cause of many being that the C:\_restore folder is well hidden and well protected, therefore viruses can easily hide within it. System Restore should be the first thing that is disabled on a new install of Windows.

In order to recovery anything that has been deleted from your hard drive you will need to use what's called an 'undelete utility'. There is one by the makers of CrapCleaner called Recuva that you can look up, or you can simply do a Google or Yahoo! search for 'undelete' to find many results.

Now, if you have installed any new software or added many new files to your computer, it's possible that the data you are trying to recover has been partially overwritten. In that case, the files you find may not be complete and could be unreadable. If that's the case, then your SOL. Sorry.

Not sure why Bhargav above has received two thumbs-down. His answer is absolutely correct.

in case you in trouble-free words have one image in line with folder, then you have not any decision yet to pass the single image at a time to a distinct area or folder. I doubt very heavily in case you downloaded them incorrect, I strongly suspect it become the scrapbooking web site's way of controlling the acquire. you could, for sure, delete a folder as quickly because it is empty, and that i imagine to save time, i'd pass the images out of each and every folder and purely go away them in My images until eventually you get 20 or so, then you could pass all of them instantly into yet another folder. then you could delete the empty folders and commence over. I choose there turned right into a more beneficial efficient answer to provide you, yet I actual do not recognize of one.

YOu can try doing a system restore as far back as to the point before where you believe you got the virus.

I hope this helps.

Good luck.

If its deleted then, its gone. The only way to recover it (or more likely parts of it) would be try some 3rd party recovery software. Just google for it and you'll find lots of them, all most all are commercial.
