If you're a computer genius, I need your help.
I was downloading pictures onto a CD yesterday, and when I went to look at them today they weren't there, but I already deleted the files and emptied my recycle bin. Is there any way to get them back, or is a computer specialist company able to do it?

Only constructive answers please.

Recuva

http://www.recuva.com/

It's free. Download then install it

Launch the program, click 'next', choose 'pictures', choose 'i'm not sure', click 'next', then 'start'

Recuva will now scan for deleted pictures on your hard-drive.

For the CD thing, remember you don't just drag and drop the pictures onto the CD, you need to write the data to it otherwise it will not be saved on the disc

So you thought you had burned the pics to a cd? Now you find out the cd is blank and you have already deleted the files from your hard drive and emptied the recycle bin? Where are the original files? Have these been deleted? I have used http:/www.recuva.com to recover pics from a formatted sd card, but not sure if it would work for your problem, it is a free download and worth a try, try a deep scan.

I'm sorry to tell you if you deleted your files and then emptied the recyclin bin there is absolutely no hope of getting them back unless they're still on your camera or phone.
