Why do I have to hold shift to type?

I got a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop from my grandmother and if I type without holding the shift key it performs actions, L locks the computer, F and G pull up google search, B minimizes, among other things, does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello

Something is stuck between the buttons of your keyboard. Try turning id upside down and see if something falls. Or turn of your laptop and try to clean your keyboard.

This may sound weird, but i had the same problem, what I did was turned off the laptop, clicked randomly clicked a lot of buttons on the laptop, turned it back on and i t was fixed, you should try it

That's weird, maybe you've got some disability controls on?
