Turn the computer into a virtual server, set up two separate virtual machines. Retail products such as VMware do virtual servers.

This would require you to use a separate computer for accessing the virtual servers though. Might defeat the purpose.

Not possible. While you can have two (and more) programs running, only one of them can be active at a time. If two people were to try to type at the same time, both their letters would end up in document jumbled together. Using two mice is a different issue, as the mouse cursor is not part of the "active program". You can run them separate from anything. But a keyboard only inputs to the active program.

You want a kind of containers that they promote on the shops. I consider is known as a kvm transfer or some thing like that. It allows you to use a million mouse, track and keyboard on two diffrent desktops. Thats all you want even though.
