i cant figure out how to password protect one of my folders i dont want other people going in. so how can i do it or is it not possible?

You can either create different account for different user or use some paid software to password protect folder.



Alternatively, you may wish to consider using TrueCrypt to create a password protected partition.

I am not a frequent Vista user but I have received files from Vista operating systems. Have you tried right clicking on the folder and opening the properties?
