Computer experts; Please help me. I am in trouble?

Question

(1) I have P3 933 MHz computer with windows xp. When I shut down the computer, it closes a program and appears "Ending program lsass.exe" in c: /windoes/system/32. This has been appearing for some days. After ending this program, computer shuts down. What is the problem and what to do?
(2) When computer starts and reached at desktop, it takes 3 - 5 minutes for refresh. The sounds appear from computer’s speaker such as some programs start or end by self. What to do?

First enter Isass.exe on a Google search and find out what kind of program this is. Usually you will find information on what to do and what programs it is related to. I am not sure of what this program or executable is but it shouldn't be too much of a problem but if it is a virus download Antivir anti virus and run it in the safe mode to remove any viruses. I just looked it up and it is a Trojan. Run some antivirus software. I love Antivir and it is free.

To the post below me Cippy. When was Linux free? I always hear this lie but the truth is I paid $29.99 for an operating system that doesn't have enough drivers to keep up with the hardware I like to install. Linux is flaky and sucks. I have a Mac and it is cool but now they are making Macs operate with Windoze. Windoze sucks but not as bad as the alternatives. You cannot choose your own hardware with a Mac. That sucks. I'll stick with the lesser of the suckees. Windoze. I have too many great third party software programs that run on Windoze that help it operate better and the applications are easier to find for Windoze. Choose your lesser poison. Oh yea don't listen to Cippy W telling you how dangerous the Registry is. It is only hazardous to people who don't know what they are doing and obviously Cippy is not even close to helping your problem so you can listen to her if you want to live in fear of the Registry and use stupid useless Not Free Operating Systems like Linux. Cippy W--Msconfig is used mostly to select what programs you will select to start running at start up. You will not fry anything using Msconfig. I am not sure of where you are getting your misinformation Cippy. You can use it for other things but this is the main function of Msconfig. Use your Google to find answers to computer problems. You can find enough information to solve most any problems without relying on idiots that work on computers that usually have no clue. Like Circuit City, Best Buy, your local computer stores, etc. Most of them are idiots. Rely mostly on asking around or using Google to help you solve a problem. It has always solved mine and I have never relied on a snotty nosed geek from a computer store of any type. It would be almost cheaper to buy a new computer.

Well first of all you are using windows which has these errors so i would reccomend that you install linux or reinstall windows

However, if you do get linux Get Ubuntu + Its FREE %100 Made by a lot of people, Aint slow like windows and stuff. Since it is made by a lot of people it is more of what people want not what a big corperation (IE: Microsoft) Thinks.

But face it-its windows its gonna do this. but if you want to fix it, you might have to go into the registry (WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS)

And also the "Service Provider" Part is pretty much retarded. No offence to the answerer unless he is referring you there to tech support.

Or Msconfig where if you do somthing wrong its fried. So if you would like to fix this, And dont know what i just said or have little knowloge i would higly reccomend bringing it to a computer shop and if they say somthing is fried they are filthy liers.

if they do go to a diffrent shop with no affiliation with that shop.

Ok what that one chick said said about that registry tool should do fine but it could also be a trojan.

"lsass.exe" is the Local Security Authentication Server. It verifies the validity of user logons to your PC/Server. It generates the process responsible for authenticating users for the Winlogon service. This process is performed by using authentication packages such as the default Msgina.dll. If authentication is successful, Lsass generates the user's access token, which is used to launch the initial shell. Other processes that the user initiates inherit this token.



Note: The lsass.exe file is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. In other cases, lsass.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm!

that doesn't want a impressive professional. click on initiate > All classes and accurate click on the Firefox shortcut. decide on "replica" to replica the shortcut. accurate click on the Startup application team and Open it. residing house windows Explorer will open the team. Paste the shortcut there. Now signal off and log decrease back in as in case you've in basic terms opened the computer. Firefox might want to now quickly run each and every time you log in for your account

You need to scan and remove any viruses and then do system scans for Spyware using Adaware free version from http://www.download.com

it sounds like you may have errors on your computer or it could be youe sevice provider..i would call them first.then if that dont work call some one that works on computers to see if they can take care of the errors.....good luck!
