A problem has been detected and window has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps.

Check to be sure you have adequated disk space. If a drive is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory option such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart you computer, open F8 to select advance start-up options, and then select safe mode.

Technical Information:
….
Beginning dump of physical memory….

I have done most of what it said apart from disable BIOS memory options!

about a week ago i took it to get cleansed from viruses. and then this began happening!

Then take it back and get them to put it right.

However I'm curious, why would one take a computer in to get it cleaned of viruses?

If you have an AV program [even the freebies ones] running in real time then

you shouldn't get any viruses in the first place!

You can download ccleaner for free here: http://bit.ly/1Bk5V5C

First open CCleaner

Go to the Cleaner tab and you will be confronted by a very confusing lineup of checkboxes.

To make this brief, below is my recommended setup:

Under internet explorer check temporary internet files, cookies, and last download location. Most users don't really need this stuff. keep history and bookmarks unchecked, history is a maybe, but you don't want to lose bookmarked sites. You can normally leave Windows Explorer, System, and Advanced alone.

Run CCleaner and it will start deleting files.

afterward it will present you with a list of the files deleted, you really don't need to go through it as it will be several pages long.

The registry cleaner is recommended for slightly more advanced users. Use it after uninstalling programs as they will often leave behind incorrect registry entries.

If you decide to run Registry cleaner then review the items detected and always back up the registry (I keep a folder aside for this)

The Tools tab lets you uninstall programs and set startup programs. Why do you need this if Windows has all of these features? Especially with Vista Home Ed. The windows defender software explorer( startup programs) doesn't pick up some entries (however software explorer is easier to use).

Using CCleaner to uninstall programs and then check for leftover registry entries takes less time.

Under Options you can determine how CCleaner cleans your files. I leave this alone.

Try booting in safe mode.

To do this, you'll need to mash F8 before the windows icon shows up. If it boots up, it means the problem is probably a buggy driver, software or virus.

If it doesn't, a hardware problem or windows itself may be at fault. You'll need to troubleshoot your PC to find the culprit.

There are several troubleshooting guides on the internet, so I won't post any links here. A simple google search would suffice.

If you paid money to get it fixed then I would take it back to the repair shop for them to fix it.

The most likely answer is that although they may have removed the virus it has damaged the operating system. The simplest answer would be to do a factory restore to return it to out-of-the box condition. I would copy off your important files on to a memory stick and then consult your manual on how to do a factory restore.

properly i'm not susceptible to think of Virus, a minimum of not my first wager. flow to administration panel and equipment (or start up good click my computing device and flow to residences) then flow to progressed. below startup and restoration container click on settings. In equipment failure area eliminate the verify from right now reboot determination. this could aid you envision and record the message you have become on the BSD (Blue show of dying). this could greater aide in fixing your difficulty which i've got faith must be some modern-day hardware or utility substitute.

The information you've provided is useless- it is a generic message. Please post the STOP ERROR CODE (eg- "STOP: 0x0000008E...") displayed in in the blue screen- this code is very useful, it provides details about the error.

Take it back and ask them what did they do to cause this!
