Is there a way to have all my email accounts in one program?

I mean like having my yahoo, gmail, hotmail and my local servers email accounts all together so that I can just open one program and receive all the emails at once. My family all has many accounts and it would be easier to have them all together. Is there a way?

Mozilla Thunderbird - It comes from the same people that make Firefox so you know it is open source which makes it much better than Outlook.

It depends on the accounts that you have. Yahoo! and Gmail will support applications like the Thunderbird and Outlook mail clients. I'm not sure about Hotmail but I have no reason to suspect that you won't be able to access your accounts there with either client.

The big deal about using mail clients though is setting them up. But the example accounts that you gave most probably have FAQ pages to help you in setting up.

I'll explain two ways. Here's the first and easier way. What you can do is setup e-mail forwarding so that all the other e-mails get forwarded to the one account that you want to use. Then you can just use that one account.

Another way thats more tricky is when you setup your accounts in your e-mail program, have all the accounts use the same inbox. The e-mail program will by default setup each account with a different inbox but this can be changed. I think this can be done in Thunderbird or Outlook Express. If you do it this way then you can reply to your emails with the same email address that they sent their emails to. With the first method you are using just the one account as the reply to address.

GMail provides IMAP access.

Yahoo! Mail Plus provides IMAP, for a small fee (along with a bunch of extra features)

Hotmail lets you forward all your mail to another account.

Combine those with an IMAP client (such as Thunderbird) and you get all your accounts together.

You can use programs like Outlook or thunderbird. But for your yahoo account, unless it's a yahoo plus account, will need to use the YPOPs program to be able to use its POP3 setting. The regular yahoo email accounts wont let you forward emails to other accounts, but YPOPs will let you get them and then forward it to your Oulook or other email client program.

This is a great little program that will handle just about any email service, it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but it works and it's free. I have been using it for the last 2 years and I think it's the only way to go.

You can use outlook or something similar. You would need to create multiple accounts I think..and each email client will have a bit different way to set it up, so visit each one and learn how to create POP3 accounts....

I do this with Thunderbird

I don't believe hotmail (maybe not gmail) since they have a proprietary file format, but you can give it a shot.

Good luck!
