You can recover files you deleted from computer including photos video files deleted from recycle bin, shift-delete, files lost after Windows operation system reinstallation, were not erased permanently. They are just inaccessible or invisible. The space your deleted files located on is marked as free space that can be occupied or taken by new data. Therefore, you can recover your deleted files with data recovery software. 001 file recovery is such kind of software. It can recover data after deeply scanning your hard drive to look for lost data you accidentally deleted.

By the way,you can download it and scan your hard drive and digital camera memory card for free to preview whether your deleted files can be recovered. If they are on the hard drive, they may be recoverable; maybe.

Try this:

Undelete Plus

enables you to undelete files that have been emptied from the recycle bin. The program quickly scans a selected drive and presents you with a list of files that can be recovered, along with the status for each file (very good, good, bad etc.)...etc.

Freeware.

Also, you might try to open a photo they way you did the others, and hit 'Save" to maybe get an idea where the filepath leads to, they may just be in a weird location.

Good luck.

I don't about the computer saving them if you just viewed them on the computer. You can do a search for

*.jpg

if that's the file extension that they were saved in. That's the most common one. The * is a wildcard that will look for any file with .jpg as the extension.

You can try GetDataBack if you think they were deleted. It's free to try to get them back. But if you find them you have to pay for the software to recover them. I don't know any good freeware file recovery programs that work well. You can google it and try some.

It will be easier to just recover from memory card if it is not overwritten. You can try asoftech photo recovery, which helped me before.

1. connect your card to your computer through a card reader

2. download asoftech photo recovery

http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

3. if photos are recoverable, you can consider to get full version to save your photos, which cost 30 bucks and you own the tool.

By the way, this tool also support recover from hard disk, but it may take a long time to scan your hard disk for recoverable photos as hard disk size is much more bigger
