Try it by clearing your cookies. If the website uses cookies to track you, then you will be able to vote again. If they track you by your IP address then you'll have to change your IP address

Depends on the poll's programming...

Most use your IP address to discern if you have voted or not...this would mean that clearing your cookies out would be ineffective, although a proxy server would work in some cases...

Proxy server's would be ineffective if the poll requires you to login, however. If that is the case, you can simply make another profile to vote under, as clearing your cookies would be equally ineffective.

Bottom line is: the only way clearing your cookies will work is if the poll was made by an amatuer programmer.

2 popular methods in preventing multiple votes;

Trace IP, prevent multiple entries

Use a session cookie

-Both :P

Clearing your cookies, clears your session cookie :) so 2nd method is out of there.

But the first method is more complicated, it requires you to use a proxy to mask your IP.

Visit Proxy.org

-for a list of websites which have online proxies

Heres how you use it

-visit the proxy site, Enter the website address of the poll, vote.

-now switch proxies

If you know what your doing, theres an add-on for firefox which does this for you :)
