Ive been having this problem for a long time now and I dont know what to do! WoW will randomly "lag" as in the game will freeze completely (or at least thats what my best explanation is) for only about 1-2 secs. Now Ive tried lots of things like turning down the setting to bare bones low even though my system can run wow at Ultra settings. I just dont know what to do anymore and its killing me in arena!

Heres my System Info direct from dxdiag.exe, +1 internets to whoever can figure this problem out for me! If you need more information let me know Ill tell all!

Your computer is more than good enough for WoW. What you're experiencing are lag spikes. That's happening somewhere in the path between your computer and Blizzard's server - and I'd suspect it's on your cable (TV or phone). Not much you can do about it. (The only other possibility is your graphics card. If that's not a gaming-class card, it could be overheating and shifting down for a couple of seconds every once in a while.)

hmmmm...... it looks like 2.9GHz CPU speed isnt enough for running a game like wow on ultra high settings. but u said changing teh graphics didnt work out..... try buying more RAM for ur computer maybbe that will help speed up things. DDR3 for sure if u want teh fastest most reliable ram out there.

if it dont work ill think some more =/

you dont have much RAM so all the background programs plus WoW may be sucking all your RAM up causing it to lag. i have 3 gigs of ram and even that gets sucked up when i am running certain programs.
