How is my computer connecting to windows update with no internet connection available?

No wi-fi. No ethernet. No Bluetooth, subspace, nothing!! Seriously though, I have logs proving it. "Yes, my time is set correctly on the timestamps." Anyone else out there noticing updates occuring say, with the computer off while you're sleeping, etc. SERIOUS answers only please. (Wow this is going to turn into a crazy thread...I just know it.)

Your computer does not have to have internet connection to have windows update.

However you still need another computer which has an internet connection to download the WSUS Offline Update portable tool then transfer to your computer

if u turned off ur computer completely while connected to wifi it updates it self so wen u turn on ur computer it still is updating even if ur not connected to wifi windows is a operating system its not the internet itself everytime u turn on ur computer windows is on working and doing things without the use of wifi
